Junior Business Development Analyst

Location: Gilbert, AZ                                                                                       Status: Full Time/Exempt
 
Summary
The Jr. Business Development Analyst will assist with, and facilitate, effective and efficient initiatives to support various Business Development efforts.  This position will also provide support, management coordination, quotes, analysis, and consult on the delivery of operational solutions and ongoing performance management to help achieve excellence and quality as they relate to Business Development. The Jr Business Systems Analyst will work on a spectrum of military programs and business development initiatives, such as pricing, proposals, and marketing efforts that relate to the portfolio of products and services the company provides.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field experience preferred
  • 3-6 years’ experience with DoD a plus
  • Experience with Aerostat, C4ISR, Border Surveillance or Air Drop a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills specifically editing and copy writing
  • Experience with Business Intelligence and Analytics (Plus) 
  • Strong skills in organization and planning, problem analysis, problem-solving, and team-leadership
  • Experience in Product Management a plus
  • Demonstrate ability to work and think strategically and independently
  • Able to multi-task and to accept and adapt to change quickly
  • Detail oriented with strong follow through and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated individual who can handle the challenges of a paperwork-intensive environment
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
 Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of administrative and analytical tasks in support of Business Development
  • Participate in establishing pricing requirements for products, logistics as related to BD and Marketing initiatives
  • Create reports and assists with quotes
  • Interact regularly with customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements
  • Consistently monitor engagements to ensure a productive and successful relationship between all engaged resources
  • Ability to interface with other agencies, business units and technical team members
  • Excellent Team building skills are a must
  • May perform business development activities
  • Participate in special projects as required
  • Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Work is performed in an office setting
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear, and see
  • May occasionally be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) during the course of the workday
